Chondroitin or Glucosamine ? Both ? Or Cortaflex
?
Chondroitin and Glucosamine are widely believed to stimulate the joint
cells to produce better quality joint fluid (synovial fluid, which acts
as a cushion), and to trigger the cartilage matrix to help prevent damage
to the joints.
Cortaflex is an effective joint supplement because it contains the key
refined, pharmaceutical-grade isolates of Chondroitin and Glucosamine.
These smaller molecules are easily absorbed into the bloodstream, where
they filter through the capillaries to their intended destination –
the joints !

and Glucosamine problem - and the Cortaflex solution
Once the key isolates are present in the joints, they trigger the body
to produce its own natural Chondroitin and Glucosamine.
Cortaflex provides both the stimulus and building blocks for
natural joint health – that is the Cortaflex difference !
Cortaflex has been scientifically proven in the
equine world to improve joint function. Our next project is a study exploring
the effectiveness of Cortaflex for Humans – watch this space !

How is Cortaflex different from other Glucosamine and Chondroitin
products ?
Cortaflex is beyond Glucosamine and Chondroitin ! Molecules of Glucosamine
and Chondroitin, even in their purest form, are simply too large to travel
efficiently to the soft tissues of the joint.

and Glucosamine problem - and the Cortaflex solution
Instead of loading Cortaflex with thousands of milligrams
of Glucosamine and Chondroitin, we have specially formulated our product
using their key isolates:
Glutamine
Glutamic Acid
Glucuronic Acid
Glycine
Proline
The unique formulation of Cortaflex allows these building
blocks, assisted by MSM, to be more readily absorbed by the body. We only
use pharmaceutical grade ingredients in Cortaflex, so you are assured
of getting a safe, natural, quality product.

How does Cortaflex work ?
Glucosamine and Chondroitin are produced naturally by the body. These
two substances provide the building blocks for cartilage and cushioning
joint fluid.
Cortaflex, a nutritional dietary supplement, relies on the bloodstream
to deliver key nutrients throughout the body; it is formulated with the
key isolates of Chondroitin and Glucosamine:
Glutamine
Glutamic Acid
Glucuronic Acid
Glycine
Proline
The key isolates used in Cortaflex stimulate the body to produce its
own Glucosamine and Chondroitin !
These smaller molecules travel efficiently from the bloodstream to the
soft tissues of the joint. The larger molecules of Chondroitin and Glucosamine,
are not processed as effectively by the body, as their movement from the
bloodstream is restricted.

I see that there are 3 versions of Cortaflex - Human,
Canine and Feline, and Equine. What is the difference? Can I give Equine
Cortaflex to my dog ?
There are fundamental differences in the formulation of the three versions.
Horses require different nutrients than dogs or humans. For example, Equine
Cortaflex contains copper sulphate. This form of copper should not be
fed to dogs, as it cannot be properly digested.
Aside from having unique combinations of nutrients, the three versions
of Cortaflex are also blended to be palatable to the species for which
it was intended ! The Human Cortaflex is a malty, fruit punch flavour;
the Canine and Feline Cortaflex is beef and liver flavoured; the Equine
Cortaflex is alfalfa-based.

How long does Cortaflex need to be taken ? Is it
supposed to be administered as a course ?
Cortaflex is a nutritional dietary supplement - not a medicine. As such,
Cortaflex can be taken indefinitely ! We believe giving Cortaflex to your
pet on a regular basis can help to protect joints from daily stresses
and strains.
